Good Luck Card

Made this Good Luck card for my lovely friend Janey who starts her new job at the Beeb today! woop woop!! First time I've ever used a Gorjuss Girl image & I'm loving her - she's sooo pretty!!! Matched her colours to the Papermania paper I've used! Also used Making memories Jumbo blossoms & crystal brads! Also stamped the 'Good Luck' sentiment which is good going for me as I don't usually 'stamp'!!

Crafty Place July Swap 'Pocket' Card

Here is the first Pocket Card I made & this one is a 'double-pocket' card. It was for the Craft Place July Swap Challenge and now that Flourgirl has received it I can post it on here! I downloaded the backing paper from the internet & printed it out - I then used these instructions here & the embellishments were actually 'free' with a magazine! Although I have since found then as a download for the computer so will be able to use them again! I really thought that pocketcards were going to be difficult but they are a lot easier to make than you think! and now I'm addicted to them hahaha...

Daren't ask if the treasures were made using a 'Cuttlebug' otherwise it might tempt me further to make a purrrchase!!!

An 'extra' wedding pressie for our friends Nat & Jay

Boxed album:
Our friends Natalie & James got married on Saturday and it was a fantastically beautiful day!!! We were then invited to a bbq at their home on Sunday afternoon so after delicious smoked salmon & scrambled eggs at our hotel we dashed home Sunday morning slightly ragged around the edges (haha!) where I decided it would be nice to try and print off some of the photos we had taken at the wedding so they wouldn't have to wait til they got back from honeymoon! Hadn't quite envisaged how snap happy I had been at the wedding though!! haha! There were 912 photos!! EEK!! 300 had to be deleted so we put about 600 onto a disc for them & printed off about 20 & put them in a small album that I then personalised for them!
& Album inside - decorated & personalised!

MSE 'Furrypig' challenge

The challenge was set by Furrypig on MSE and it was to make a card using embossed paper & 'Thankyou' - I decided to combine it with my newly learn't technique of making pocket cards - this is only my second attempt at a pocket card (can't post photos of my first one yet until Flourgirl has received it!!) & my first using these particular instructions and I LOVE THEM! Will be making loads more!! As I needed to make a 'Wedding Party' acceptance card for some friends who are getting married in Cyprus later this year I thought I'd give it a go for that... and here are the results...
